Confidence & relationships
This girl is on fiiiire.. and then she’s not. If you don’t understand what I just said, lucky you. A good relationship- whether its romantic or not should make you feel appreciated and cared for. As a woman, I can related to those who have a spike of confidence when the man of your dreams tells you you’re beautiful and he wants to have a family with you one day… and then he ghosts you starting the next day. You feel like you may need a new tissue box. “Why me again?” “Why does he keep lying to me?” “Is there something wrong with me?” Allow yourself to cry for one day if you need to get the tears out. Maybe two if it was a longer relationship. I know it hurts.
But the next day, go kickboxing to get the anger out. Play some more Alecia Keys and Beyonce while you’re at it. Go buy yourself a cupcake and mocha latte because you are the queen and you deserve it. You actually win because you lost this odd idiot that didn’t want you- because you’re a superstar and he’s watching you with his mouth wide open as you walk down that runway. His loss.
Of course, this is easier said then done. But the sense of self-love and confidence always has to come from yourself first. Learn to not rely on others for it. Hey- who knows, maybe this self-found confidence may shine a light onto your true best friend for life.. that will put a diamond ring on your finger.
